It's that time of year again 🎉
The South Island Mountain Bike Society’s (SIMBS) Annual General Meeting is coming your way! This is your chance to connect with the local riding community, hear about our incredible year, and be a part of the future of mountain biking on the South Island.
From trail building to community events, SIMBS has been hard at work ensuring the South Island remains a top-tier riding destination. This AGM is a chance to celebrate those efforts and set the course for the future.
Join us on Thursday March 13th, 2025 at 6:00PM at the Esquimalt Gorge Pavilion.
Doors open at 6:00PM, and the meeting starts at 6:45PM.
Come early to grab your pizza, beer, and hang out with fellow riders.

Bylaws
In the last year, heaps of work has gone into modernizing our Bylaws since they were first written in 1998 when SIMBS had only a few card-carrying members.
The process of rewriting them has involved a committee composed of current, former, and non board members. Together with input from our lawyer on standard best practices, we have wound up with all new bylaws that fit our growing society in today's age.

Running an AGM is no small task, we need help!
We're looking for folks who can help with the following tasks:
- Pizza pickup
- Check-in
- Beer serving (requires SIR or SES certificate, which are easy/cheap to get if you like)
