Community Trail Maintenance

Hosted the third Sunday of each month, Community Trail Maintenance provides members and volunteers the chance to get their hands dirty and give back to the off-road riding community through trail maintenance and development. No prior experience or a SIMBS membership are required - just an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to help! Mentoring, tools and lunch are provided, and minors, accompanied by a guardian, are welcome! Scroll through the events calendar above for dates and details of upcoming sessions.

Annual Events

Annual General Meeting

Although the AGM is a legal requirement for SIMBS, we make it a party! Occurring in late February/early March, the event requires attendance from 10% of the membership. We vote in a new Board, discuss important topics, and plan for the future. This is a celebration of the South Island Mountain Bike community and tends to bring in hundreds of people for beer, pizza, prizes and democracy!
