Denim-Duro Tenner Recap

Denim Tenner Recap: Jorts, Jean Jackets, and Questionable Chafing

Jorts? Homemade. Canadian tuxedos? Proudly represented. Chafing? We’ll let you tell us.

We’re pretty confident Hartland hasn’t seen this much denim since 2002. The Denim-Duro brought out a crowd that fully committed to the bit.

Thank you to our partners

A massive shoutout to Oak Bay Bikes for sponsoring the wicked prizes, the BBQ, and for rolling up their sleeves to help with logistics on the day. We’re also stoked to have partnered with the UVic Mountain Bike Club on this one to get more students on the trails with us!

Thank you to our volunteers

Tenners don’t happen without the people who show up early, stay late, and make the whole thing run. Huge thanks to: Kyler, Ian, Char, Rick, Mike, Kara, Jo, Char, and Audrey

New to Tenners?

If you’ve been on the fence about trying out a Tenner, we hope this gives you a sense of what they’re really about: Getting together to have fun on our trails. Race pace is whatever pace you’re having a good time on.

Next up: October 24

Our next Tenner is on Saturday, October 24, and with Halloween around the corner, you can probably guess where our heads are at. Don't miss out on this one!

We acknowledge and respect the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, on whose traditional territories we live, ride, and gather. We recognize their historic and ongoing relationship to these lands, and we are grateful to share in the places that nourish our bodies, minds, spirits, and community.
