Join the Board!

We're looking for passionate individuals to join our team of volunteer board of directors.

This role is a good fit for those who wants to contribute their time & energy to creating positive change in the South Island mountain biking community. 

There is always a lot to do, but we know we need help in the following areas:

• Advocating for greater access to trails
• Community outreach, engagement, & education
• Fundraising & donor program development
• Accounting & bookkeeping
• Knowledge management
• Technology administration

As a director, you can expect:

• To meet other like-minded biking folks
• Beer at our monthly board meetings
• 10 hours of independent work per month
• A fun & productive strategic summit consisting of 2 days of riding bikes, making friends, getting aligned, and planning out the year's work
• Bragging rights to your pals

Neither advance riding, nor board experience is needed. We're happy to show you the ropes and we want individuals of all skills, experiences, and backgrounds. We recognize the strength in diversity and want our leaders represent our vibrant community.
