Restoring Middle Earth and Centrefold: A New Chapter for SIMBS Trails

Restoration Day Recap!

Hey, SIMBS community!

We're thrilled to be able highlight our ongoing focus on restoration aimed at rejuvenating the stunning landscapes we are fortunate enough to ride and recreate on. As passionate riders, we know these trails aren’t just paths we ride—they’re places we connect with nature, recharge our spirits, and gather as a community.

Modern restoration techniques allow us to bring new life to these beloved areas while respecting and preserving the natural beauty that makes them so special. Our goal? To restore and enhance the trail network while making sure our impact on the environment remains sustainable and positive. We’re focusing on erosion control, native plant rehabilitation, and advanced drainage systems as we build and rebuild that will keep these trails both challenging and ecologically balanced.

This project is more than trail maintenance—it’s about protecting the very heart of what brings us together. Restoration isn’t just an add-on; it’s an investment in the long-term health of our trails, ensuring they’re here for future generations of mountain bikers, hikers, and outdoor lovers. By restoring, most recently, Middle Earth, Centrefold, and Sofa King, we’re committing to our role as caretakers of this unique landscape, helping to maintain that special, wild feeling every time we ride.

If you want to join us on this journey stay tuned for updates on progress, trail closures, and of course come out to trail and restoration days! Together, we’ll make sure our trails stay safe, beautiful, and ready for every ride.
