What is a tenner?
- A tenner is a $10 community focused Race! This is an awesome race series to get introduced to racing, meet fellow community members, and ride some of the South Island's best trails!
- Tenner race entry fee covers your racing cost, and includes après race food (veggie and non-veggie options) and après beverage
- Tenner registration requires an active SIMBS membership - you can check your membership status or sign up for a membership here
What is a chainless race?
- Riders will compete in a single trail style timed race.
- At the top of the trail, mechanics will help remove the chain from racers' bikes - so no pedalling will be possible! This is a game of momentum! Bring a small hip pack or similar to bring your chain with you!
- Racers will ride down Torpedo Run and will be timed for the duration of their descent
- At the bottom of the trail mechanics will help re-install your chain!
