Trail Day - Sofa King Refresh! Aug 18/2024

Trail Day Alert - this Sunday August 18th - 8:45 - 12:30 at Hartland, we will be working on a number of activities in the park but most notably we will be breaking ground on the long awaited Sofa King refresh!

Why are we refreshing Sofa King?

The short version - more flow, less brakes.

The longer version is we believe we can add more flow, length, and features to this iconic trail but also apply some of the techniques and modern building practices our trail builders are continually developing. We will preserve the spirit of the trail but up the fun factor (much like the recently completed Torpedo refresh).

This is also a great opportunity for us to approach this rebuild with an eye on land restoration - Middle Earth being a great example of this in practice.
